Jessica Vall, a Spanish swimmer specializing in breaststroke, has always been among the best swimmers in the country.

Jessica began swimming at just 6 years old through a scholarship with the Catalunya swimming club. In 2013, she advanced her swimming career by joining the Spanish Swimming team and since has participated in every World and European Championships to date. Jessica has achieved 3 European silver, a European bronze, a World bronze and European gold in the 200 m breaststroke event and a European bronze in the 100 m breaststroke event. She has also participated in the 2016 Rio Olympics and in the Mersin Mediterranean games 2013 and Tarragona 2018 revalidating the gold in the 200 m breaststroke test.

Discipline and enthusiasm are the engines that help Jessica meet the challenges. She gets up at 5 am in the morning and trains for about seven hours a day in the Pere Serrat pool of the Sant Andreu Swimming Club. Jessica, 32, has combined the world of sports with a professional career. She has a degree in biology from Pompeu Fabra University and has worked for the IMIM for some years.

Treatment
