“I have been using INDIBA Activ daily in my practice for 4 years to meet the needs of my patients straight after birth or later postpartum.

More and more menopausal women are freely talking about the difficulties associated with menopause (dyspareunia, vaginal dryness, irritation, burning and itching of the vulva, incontinence, urinary urgency). Their quality of life and sexuality are often impaired by disorders linked to the production of the ovarian hormones:  oestrogen and progesterone.

As a midwife, I am regularly called upon to discuss these difficulties with them. After listening, asking questions and a careful gynaecological examination, I can propose a treatment plan with INDIBA Activ and the protocol(s) associated with the discomforts of menopause.

In practice: I use the external capacitive electrode for 2 min, then the external resistive electrode for 2 min, I continue with the resistive electrode in intracavitary 12 min per side of the external and internal genital apparatus. Throughout the session, the patient is active, with exercises combining perineum and breathing techniques.

The number of sessions varies between 5 and 10 with INDIBA, depending on the progress in reduction and/or disappearance of the troublesome symptoms. Initially, appointments are once a week and then 1 maintenance session per month. The session is painless and lasts between 20 and 30 minutes.  At the end of the first session, the patient feels comfortable and can see/feel the positive results.”

In my opinion, this is a great non-drug-related therapeutic solution for women who often feel alone in the face of these difficulties. INDIBA Activ makes it possible to set up short sessions with quick and spectacular results that appear from the beginning.
